## My progress disappeared

The puzzle you are in the middle of is stored only on your device. Solved puzzles, streaks, purchases and unlocks can sync through iCloud if you connect your Apple ID in Settings. After a reinstall, sign in again with the same Apple ID to get them back. A half-finished grid is not restored after the app is deleted.

## How do I sync with my Apple ID?

Go to Settings, then Save Progress, then Continue with Apple. Mercuro uses your Apple ID only to recover solves, streaks, purchases and unlocks through your iCloud account.

## How do I restore a purchase?

Go to Settings, then Restore Purchases. Purchases come back through the App Store, using the Apple ID you bought them with.

## How do hints work?

Tap the lightbulb in the puzzle toolbar. A hint points at the next cell or group of cells that logic forces, without filling it for you. You get two free hints a day; after that, a short ad buys another. Remove Ads and Mercuro Pro include unlimited hints with no ads.

## Where do ads appear?

In the free game a full-screen ad plays every third puzzle you start, at most 12 a day. You get two free hints a day, and after that a hint, or a past day in the archive, costs a short optional ad. Either purchase removes all of them.

## How do chapters unlock?

The 660 puzzles sit in chapters of ten across eight board sizes, 5x5 to 12x12. Solve 7 of the 10 in a chapter and the next one opens. 330 are free and 330 come with Mercuro Pro.

## Do the daily puzzles need the internet?

No. Warm-Up, Daily and Challenge are built from the date on your device, so they work offline. Solve all three to grow your streak.
